Sun Valley Ski Area Expansion Approved
Sun Valley is having better luck than ski areas in Oregon and Washington in getting its expansion plans approved. Two federal agencies just recently signed off on upgrades at the Idaho ski resort. Tom Banse has more.

Jessica Lake Trails A & C 30-12-2007
My second outing took me deeper into the Whiteshell, as far as Jessica Lake. Correcting a few of the errors I made on my first trip, this short excursion proved less much less disconcerting, and equally more enjoyable though perhaps a tad short. Making sure to have a compass in my pocket, and being sure to look at it before I departed on my trip, I at least knew which way I?d have to go to get back to the trailhead.
