okay so i just went on a ski trip with my bf and his family, including his brothers gf, who have been going out for a few years. i dont know if im just being sensitive or if she really is a mean b**ch.
it was my first time ever skiing, im 18 so i wasnt used to the discomfort and pain. after my first lesson me and her and my bf sat down for a bit and i was saying how my arms hurt a lot from hanging onto a rope and then later i said i hate the boots because i was in soooo much pain from them digging into my leg. anyway this is when she coldly said “do you hate everything? do u not like ANYTHING?”
i found it sooo mean i had to try so hard not to cry. especially because she said it in front of my bf and i really wanted to enjoy my time there and i didnt want him to think i wasnt having a good time. but seriously now, am i meant to enjoy being in pain?
she made me feel paranoid for the rest of my trip there, i was always worried that maybe im complaining too much. the reality is, i probably did complain, but its so rich coming from her whens shes always the one bitching about EVERYONE and EVERYTHING!
anyway i just wanna know if anyone has been in a similar situation and if it was my fault for being too sensitive. and how am i meant to deal with her from now on? im almost too scared to be around her because i always have to watch what comes out of my mouth…oh and the hardest part is that everyone likes her (well except for his sister) …or at least they seem to like her
thanks to the ones that answered so far. also, the reason i was wondering if its me is because a few days later when we came back, my bf mentioned that i complained a lot. he probably thought it was funny and wasnt so serious about it but i cried so much because thats exactly what i didnt want, for him to think i complained and i ended up telling him how i felt about what she said and he felt really bad and ended up retracting his statement when i pointed out that she complains even more than i do. i just dont know whos right
